Hiking and Climbing is open to all students regardless of experience. If your looking to clear you head in the rugged Irish landscape or climb like a ninja at the climbing wall, than UCC Mountaineering Club is for you.

We go climbing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00-10:30pm at the Mardyke climbing wall. Everyone is more than welcome to attend regardless of experience. All you need is comfortable gym gear and we’ll do the rest.

We leave from Gaol Cross at 8.30AM and get back into Cork at 8PM. We travel to many parts of the Munster region exploring the unique landscapes off the beaten tracks which wind their way round the mountain
