Gap of Dunloe Hike
Another successful hike by UCC mountaineering club was undertaken yesterday in the Gap of Dunloe in Killarney. Both hikers and climbers attended this trip. Two weeks in a row of good weather as we had the sun with us for the whole day and not a drop of rain : 🙂 The climbers challenged three rock faces with many new climbers undertaking their first outdoor climb. While the hikers took to the mountains and braced the boggy, waterfilled terrain successfully summiting a peak of 731 meters. The tough terrain didnt deter anyone as each hiker made their way through this challenging terrain. Well done to everyone envolved hikers, climbers and leaders.
