Gougane Barra Hike
Our first hike to Gougane Barra was a massive success. We were absolutely blessed with the weather and had the sun against our backs for the entire hike. We would like to thank each and everyone one of our amazing hikers who were so cooperative with all our leaders as the first hike always has a large volume of hikers. We were all very impressed with the pace standard which ensured we arrived back to base in a speedy time to catch a glimpse of the Mayo V Dublin game. I would like to also say thanks to our hike leaders who so willingly give up their free time to allow UCC students, be it local or international, the opportunity to explore many parts of the Irish landscape. Without our leaders, our hikes would not be possible. We hope that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are all excited for the next hike to Gap of Dunloe this Sunday the 24th. See ye all again bright and early at Gaol Cross at 8:30am
